Don't let my smirk fool you, building a website is tough. At least, that’s what I’ve experienced over the last 3 years. First you have to define your brand, then you have to build a sexy logo and well…then you actually have to make it all real. You also have to like the whole package enough to want to share it. I have started and quit and re-started this project too many times to count. Which I must admit, is very unlike me. I’ve always been a finisher, a list maker - a doer. I set goals and I smash them. The only concrete(ish) reason I can come up for this tardy behaviour, is that I’ve spent the majority of my 20 year broadcasting career promoting other people.
What I do know , with absolute certainty, is that I want to continue to grow and be a part of this new media landscape we all find ourselves in. So, I’ve made it easy for you to watch my TV and Digital Demo, to listen to what I can do on the mic or to flip through published travel articles from Mexico City, South Africa and beyond. I do a lot of different stuff and while some consider ‘dabbling’ a dirty word – I am what I am.
Is erincebula.com perfect? No. Is it life changing? Hardly. Does it accurately represent a people loving, adventure seeking broadcaster? I hope so. I also hope that you like it, and that you will visit me from time to time as I continue to share more of my life and my work.
