Before the world shut down, I had the pleasure of visiting Isla Holbox for Drift Travel Magazine. This little island, located just North of the Yucatán Peninsula, has everything you’d hope for in a small town Mexican escape. Think inventive cuisine, chic eco hotels, bumpin’ beach bars, warm people and not a single stinky car! But it’s Holbox’s natural environment that is truly the stand out star.
